2020 is set to go out with a bang, after what has already been a disastrous year. The final training for Croatian water polo team was that of a nightmare, as the earthquakes continue to shake the country.
Croatian head coach Ivica Tucak explains “We were all inside training and suddenly we heard a massive quake. It was horrific. The water started to overflow and it felt like the tsunami was on its way. The entire contraction started to squeak and screech. The boys were absolutely petrified and run strait out of the building in their sluggos’
Thankfully, all Croatian representatives are safe and sound and will continue their Olympic preparation in 2021.
