It was the lower ranked teams that proved crucial this week as all of the top-5 teams only had the one game and USC not having any (hurting Team Edwards). All of the top-5 scorers from the week are on teams ranked outside of the top-10 teams, which has seen Team Baron’s drafting tactics of selecting players from traditionally smaller-market teams pay off eventually.
Baron’s win along with Team’s Stellet, Lynde & Azevedo finishing outside of the top-3 has created a situation where 5 of the 8 teams are within 9 points of the lead which is definitively within striking range, especially with the double points rounds coming up for conference tournaments, NCAA and national awards.
