Week one of the NCAA Men’s Water Polo season is in the books, meaning, so is week one of fantasy. Some teams struggled to accumulate points as there were some teams without official games being played in week one, in particular, USC. Meaning that 7 drafted players and 1 coach were not able to secure any points, in particular Bowen and Stevenson who had 2 of their top picks sidelined.
Pedro Stellet came away with an emphatic week one win scoring 236.5 points using our scoring system (available at the bottom of the link). This was made easier courtesy of Joksimovic & Levai scoring 78.5 & 72.5 points respectively, enough points to beat all teams except for Team Stanchi.
It was also helpful that Stellet had the Most Valuable Goalkeeper in Jack Turner who was able to make 39 saves with a 2-2 record over the week.
